Prophyts Launches Predictive Named Accounts Monitoring Portal

IRVINE, CA, Nov 1, 2018 -- 1105 Media Inc. today announced that Prophyts, its predictive ABM company, launched a new Predictive Named Accounts Monitoring portal giving marketing and sales teams an additional online tool in their ABM arsenal.

The Predictive Named Account Monitoring portal is comprised of two named accounts products: Prospect Intelligence and Customer Retention Alerts.

Prospect Intelligence monitors a client's "named account" or prospect list and predicts which companies are in-market for a product or service in their category. The predictions are organized on a three-strength prediction intensity grid, allowing portal users to prioritize accounts based on prediction intensity, product category, company size and industry.

Similarly, Customer Retention Alerts monitors a client's customer list and predicts which of their customers are either looking for additional products or services in a category, or shopping for a new vendor signaling a potential retention risk. Customer Retention Alerts also uses a three-strength prediction intensity grid with the same prediction intensity, product category, company size and industry prioritization.

Both products are powered by the Prophyts Prediction Engine, which tracks the reading habits of users from supplied named accounts and identifies which companies are in-market for a solution in a specific category, and when they entered the buyer's journey, providing organizations with actionable intelligence around which to build sales and marketing efforts.

"Organization are still struggling to a make sense of the ABM solutions out there. Prophyts Prospect Intelligence accelerates the ROI on sales and marketing efforts by providing a visual, AI-driven solution to focus on the right opportunities at the right time. At the same time, Prophyts Customer Retention Alerts maximizes customer life value, by identifying which of our client's customers need the additional attention before it becomes an issue," said Eric Choi, general manager of Prophyts.

Converge360 Launches Redmond Intelligence

New research and consulting service will help CIOs and IT managers make sense of the complex and fast-moving Microsoft technology stack and ecosystem.

Irvine, CA, Oct. 2, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Converge360 on Tuesday launched Redmond Intelligence, a new research and consulting service to address the need for authoritative and independent guidance on Microsoft-related technology and business issues.

Redmond Intelligence brings together Converge 360's deep experience at keeping technology professionals and managers up-to-date on Microsoft technology trends through trusted media properties, such as Redmondmag.com and RCPmag.com, and educational events, such as Live! 360, Visual Studio Live! and TechMentor. The service will leverage Converge360's extensive network of respected expert authors and speakers to create sponsored reports and custom research that will be backed by surveys of Converge360's massive audience of readers and conference attendees.

"Redmond Intelligence will be the premier source of original research on Microsoft, its technologies and their implementation in the enterprise," said Andrew Brust, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP), Regional Director and co-chair of Converge360's Visual Studio Live! series of developer conferences. Brust and other top Microsoft MVPs and Visual Studio Live! veterans, such as Rockford Lhotka, Brian Randell and Vishwas Lele, are among the analysts engaged with Redmond Intelligence.

"With Microsoft's transition to public cloud services, integration with open source and drastically accelerated development cycle, companies need more help than ever before to figure out where Microsoft is going next with its technology and how to derive the most business value from it. Our research will distill key trends to help companies make the right moves," said Scott Bekker, editorial director of the Converge360 business unit.

For modern marketers, sponsoring Redmond Intelligence research reports will provide a key new avenue to help clarify the value of their technology offerings and to show how the technology meshes with and enhances buyers' Microsoft-based infrastructure. "With Redmond Intelligence, Converge360 can help marketers with an even broader array of marketing options, from lead generation and custom reports to media branding campaigns and, now, the ability to sponsor authoritative research that demonstrates the market need for their approach," said Dan LaBianca, chief revenue officer and general manager for Converge360.

Washington Technology Announces 2018 Top 100: Celebrating 25 Years of Annual Rankings

MCLEAN, VA, Jun 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington Technology, an 1105 Media Inc. brand,  has released its annual Top 100 rankings of the largest companies selling IT and other technology products and services to the federal government. For the second year in a row there is a new No. 1 company -- General Dynamics Corp.

GD captured the top spot with $7.3 billion in prime contracts during fiscal 2017. GD's rise from No. 6 in 2017 to No. 1 in 2018 is thanked in a large part by its acquisition of CSRA earlier this year.

Last year's No. 1, Leidos Inc., moved down to the No. 2 spot. Leidos displaced Lockheed Martin, which had held the No. 1 position for 22 years, but sold the bulk of its IT services business to Leidos in 2016.
The annual rankings are based on an analysis of procurement data from the Federal Procurement Data System. Agencies assign codes to all of their spending and Washington Technology uses codes that best represent IT, systems integration, telecommunications, research and develop and professional services to analyze the data and create the rankings.

"The rankings are a great barometer for how the market is changing and how the companies are evolving," said Washington Technology Editor-in-chief Nick Wakeman.

Some of the major trends represented in the Top 100 include a resurgence in large acquisitions, the importance of IT modernization, and more firms embracing strategies built around presenting customers with solutions rather than just services.

The 2018 Top 100 is the 25th annual rankings Washington Technology has produced since publishing the first Top 100 in 1994.

"Obviously, the market has changed a tremendous amount since then," Wakeman said. "But the 25th annual rankings also tell us that more change is underway right now with robust M&A activity and companies developing solutions around the cloud and mobility as well as emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning."

Join Washington Technology's webcast on June 20th as they explore the 2018 annual rankings of the largest prime contractors in the federal market. Visit http://washingtontechnology.com to find out more.
