Visual Studio Magazine Announces 2017 Reader's Choice Award Winners

(IRVINE, CA, December 12, 2017) -- Visual Studio Magazine today announced the winners of its 24th annual Reader's Choice Awards. The 2017 winners are chosen by the readers of Visual Studio Magazine and honor the best Visual Studio- and .NET Framework-related tools and services in 36 categories.

Prophyts Announces New Partnership with Intent Data Leader Bombora

Irvine, CA, July 25, 2017 -- Prophyts, a new portfolio company of 1105 Media, Inc., announced its partnership with Bombora, the leading provider of B2B intent data.

Prophyts is a predictive account-based marketing (ABM) platform solution that identifies potential B2B buyers early in their purchasing journey through a patent-pending machine-learning algorithm. The patent-pending algorithm is powered in part by partner Bombora's certified data, which includes billions of pages of B2B content consumed by potential buyers at millions of companies.

The partnership, coupled with other data sets, delivers clients with the contact information of potential buyers, including all available decisions makers, influencers and stakeholders from the companies identified as potential buyers. With ABM now a top priority for B2B marketers, identifying prospects that are showing active interest is core to connecting marketing and sales activities.

"The Prophyts team has been able to take a firehose of data and run it through our patent-pending algorithm to analyze the buying behaviors of companies over the last few years and get a pattern of what that [intent-to-buy] data looks like.  By applying predictive analytics to account-based marketing, Prophyts is changing the game for the modern marketer today," said Rajeev Kapur, CEO of 1105 Media.

"By combining a powerful prediction engine with intent-fueled contact append and ad targeting capabilities, Prophyts brings B2B marketers a more complete and powerful solution for account-based sales and marketing. We are thrilled to support this innovation," said Erik Matlick, CEO of Bombora.

1105 Media Announces New Predictive ABM Company, Prophyts

(IRVINE, CA, June 20, 2017) -- 1105 Media, Inc. today announced the launch of a new predictive account based marketing (ABM) company, Prophyts.

Prophyts, a portfolio startup of 1105 Media, enables companies to reach potential buyers early in their purchasing journey -- before they raise their hand as a traditional lead.

The predictive ABM platform is powered by a patent-pending machine learning algorithm that sifts through billions of monthly page views and the reading activity of millions of potential buyers. Based on this data, sourced from data providers, including B2B intent data leader Bombora, Prophyts predicts early stage buyers and delivers the contact information of all available decisions makers, influencers and stakeholders from that company who are likely to be involved in the purchase decision.

The information provided by Prophyts is the foundation of an ABM strategy; it brings predictability to marketing programs and enables marketers to make strategic content and ad placement decisions. Prophyts is a subscription-based service and does not need any intrusive access to proprietary systems or databases.

"We listened to our customers," said Rajeev Kapur, CEO of 1105 Media. "And the more we listened, the clearer it became that our customers wanted an easier and more effective way to identify in-market buyers early in the process.  That is what Prophyts is all about; we evolved traditional ABM from one that is manual to one that is predictive."

"Organizations are constantly looking for an edge to improve their demand generation efforts.  Lately, ABM has been the rage, but adoption can be complex and difficult to implement.  A predictable solution that can deliver both is a game changer for ABM," said John Ellett, CEO of nFusion, a leading B2B customer experience marketing agency based in Austin, TX.

A one-stop solution, Prophyts also offers industry-leading marketing engagement services and advertising targeting programs.

TDWI Anaheim Announces Keynote Focused on How Disney Engages Customers Leveraging Data and Analytics

Untitled Document

TDWI, the leading source for analytics, big data, data science, and data management training, makes its annual return to Southern California for TDWI Anaheim, August 6–11, 2017, at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim. TDWI has announced its first keynote presentation, "Engaging Customers the Disney Way! A Best Practice Chat."

These days most companies have marketing analytics and the customer data that supports it. They've developed journey maps, they've created dedicated data teams, and executives are emphasizing the importance of becoming data driven. But no brand is more implicitly linked to experience than Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.

In this keynote conversation, SAS executive and long-time TDWI faculty member Jill Dyché sits down with Disney's Chris Taylor. Chris, Director of Customer Engagement Platform—Delivery, is one of the thought leaders behind Walt Disney Parks and Resorts' Next Generation Experience program, the forerunner to the MagicBand. In managing the customer's journey from pre-arrival to post-experience, Chris is intimate with the data and analytics skills necessary to delight Disney guests and keep them coming back. Jill and Chris will discuss what it takes to keep guest experiences fresh, the role of data (from a multitude of sources!) in understanding guest preferences, and why analytics matters more than ever. Come and hear how Disney upholds its reputation as the happiest place on earth!
