Carmel moved to 1105 Media in 2005 and within her first year became their Vice President of Circulation, winning a Gold award from Circulation Management magazine. Because of her success in Audience Development, Carmel was asked to head up the new Attendee Marketing division of 1105 Media in 2009 and implement the same audience development disciplines and practices for events across the organization. In 2013, Carmel became Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing media marketing and event strategy for the Government and Education business units.
