Events as we have known them have changed. 1105 Media, Inc. is closely monitoring the global COVID-19 outbreak and we will continue to monitor the situation through updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors is our priority so we are taking proactive measures in response to a rapidly evolving situation.

Safety Planning for Events

1105 Media, Inc. Events will follow local and federal guidelines:

  • Health and Safety Physical distancing, touch-less hand sanitizer, disposable face masks, temperature checks, handshake free interactions
  • Clean Environments Increased sanitation of high-traffic areas, hand-washing stations, boxed meals, propped open doors, available disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer
  • Emergency Protocols Isolation room staffed by a nurse/EMT for someone believed to be ill, communication plan with local hospital, do not attend if you are sick

Unique protocols for unique event experiences

  • Conferences Digital sponsor kits and welcome packets, spaced seating, limited occupancy
  • Trade Shows Hands-free registration and badging, increased aisle-ways, traffic flow patterns, limited occupancy
  • Hosted Buyer Personal transportation, scheduled food functions, distanced appointment tables, limited occupancy

Ongoing vigilance for next wave or new emergency situations

  • Health Response Team Event specific health and safety initiatives, response team identified for every event, on-site health and safety guidelines
  • Partnerships Planning with local health departments and hospitals, coordination with event venues, on-site health staff, participation in community emergency preparedness
  • Communication Plans Plans Health and safety plan delivered daily, up to date information from local health officials, details of site-specific initiatives being implemented
